We have a great working relationship with Midwives, Health Visitors, Babs and the Social Prescribing team. In addition to this we work closely with 3rd Sector organisations such as Family Hubs, Andys Man Club, CGL and HimVisable.
Working across the town, in Whiston Hospital and Lowe House Resource Centre Dad Matters offers Antenatal Education to both Dads and Couples in addition to professionals training on how to engage and include Dads and the impact of Perinatal Mental Health on both parents and child.
Dad Matters Coordinator
My name is Jay. I am the new Dad Matters Coordinator for St Helens. As a Dad of 5 children I am well experienced in the challenges the role of Dad brings. When I first became a dad there was no support out there. Upon hearing about this role I had to apply. My aim is to give new and expecting dads the support that I did not have.
